A Night of Tribute to Taylor Hawkins

On March 25, 2022 the music world lost a legendary figure. Drummer/singer/band leader Taylor Hawkins passed away at the age of 50, leaving the world with his massive legacy of powerful drumming and memorable performances. He was widely-respected and loved by fans and musicians around the globe, and it goes without saying that his presence will be missed. And so we will pay tribute… 

 

Sonic Highways is Colorado’s only Foo Fighters tribute band. Formed in 2017 and named for Foo Fighters epic eighth album, they are a top-notch musical tribute to Foo Fighters, honoring the detail and high-energy of Foo Fighters’ music. 

For this one-time performance they have brought together a deep list of high-caliber Denver-area musicians, with whom they will be performing more than 2 1/2 hours of music drawn from Hawkins’ life: Foo Fighters, Alanis Morissette, and bands that he loved, through Hawkins’ original bands and songs that had deep meaning to him. The night will feature all of this music performed with the full love and talent of these amazing musicians. 

 

There will be images, there will be sound. There will be laughter, there will be tears. Mostly, there will be a noisy, rowdy good time!
