It was a warm spring day — May 25, 1990 — when the Red Hot Chili Peppers last shared a bill with Oingo Boingo in Colorado. That fabled show took place on one of the greatest stages in the world — Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Attendees recall it as one of the most incredible live shows they'd ever seen, at the height of popularity for both acts. On Aug. 20, we bring a little of that magic into the intimate confines of Denver's last truly privately owned venue, the Oriental Theater, where two of the most talented tribute acts in Colorado revisit what happened in Morrison more than 30 years ago. Join Chili Powder and Reptiles and Samurai for this face-melting bombast of rock and roll the way it was always meant to be heard: Live and in Person! And to add to the celebration, we're bringing in ASL interpreters from FLOW Performance Interpreting — making this special event more accessible for those with hearing loss! There won't be a better way to send the summer of 2022 off into the Rocky Mountain sunset!
